MATEO

Mateo is an adorable little deer Chihuahua. He is about 5-6 pounds and about 10 months old. He's neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He loves everyone. He loves to play, cuddle and eat. Great with other dogs and nice cats too. His adoption fee is $150. Contact Puppy Love Rescue at 916-649-1805, ext. 4.

Lucy

She is about 1-1/2 years old, weighs about 45 pounds, boxer-pit cross, she's spayed, housebroken and has all her shots. She is super sweet, freindly dog. She's fine with dogs. She seems fearful of men with tattoos and or hats. Loves people. Probably should go to a home where she will get walked regularly. Her adoption fee is $25.00 She was rescued by a local Sacramento vet and they need your help to find her a super home. Call Foothill Farms Vet at 332-4444

Emmy and CJ

Chihuahua mixes, about 2 years old, altered, microchipped and current rabies shots given. Both are very sweet and loving towards people. Would do best placed in a home with children over 12 years. They love each other and would love to place them together. Emmy weighs 8 lbs and CJ weighs 7 lbs. adoption fee $75 for both.. Contact 916-718-1686

Spay and Neuter Program

Puppy Love Rescue's spay and neuter program is for low income individuals who wish to have their dogs spayed or neutered. Our program is designed for those who can't afford the higher prices that are charged elsewhere. To see if you qualify for our program read on.

  1. To qualify you must be able to show proof of low income status. Acceptable sources of income are copies of your tax return, pay stubs, EBT/BIC, Med-i-cal, WIC, Cal Works (AFDC) cards, copies of SSI or SS disability check, or bank statement.
  2. The fees for services are and $20.00 per dog, either sex and any size. Also, it does not matter whether or not your pet is in heat or is pregnant.
  3. Your pet must be between 8 weeks and 10 years and at least 3 pounds to be altered.
    If you have a litter of pups, 4 months and under, you may apply as early as 1 week old and we will schedule them for a later time. If you alter both parents first, Puppy Love Rescue will alter the litter for free. It's best to apply early!

  4. Once you application is mailed your pet(s) should be altered with a month, if you mail a completed application.

. Provides financial assistance to low income individuals to help get their pets spayed/neutered.
. to decrease the number of adoptable dogs and cats being euthanized in Sacramento County, California
. to encourage better owner responsibility regarding care, socializing, training, and spaying and neutering
. to foster, spay or neuter, and adopt out homeless dogs and cats
